Netball Australia has launched a mobile streaming service in collaboration with telecommunications company Telstra.
In what the national federation claims to be a first for its sport, Netball Live will be the flagship feature of a renewed four-year partnership with Telstra, under which the firm will remain as its official telecommunications and digital partner.
Netball Live is initially available from Apple’s App Store and Google Play for A$2.99 (€2.08/$2.32) weekly on iOS, A$12.99 monthly on Android and A$29.99 annually on both platforms.
Subscribers can watch every game from the 2015 ANZ Championship, 2015 Netball World Cup, which is being held in Sydney, and Australia’s national team Test matches.
Live scores, statistics, news and highlights are available on the app without a subscription fee.
