Canadian pay-television sports broadcaster TSN and French-language sister channel RDS have agreed a multi-year extension to a rights deal for the French Open tennis grand slam.
The deal will run for eight years, from 2017 to 2024.
TSN and RDS will continue to broadcast live coverage of the tournament to audiences in Canada on an exclusive basis.
Coverage will comprise the men’s and women’s early rounds, the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
TSN’s five national feeds will also feature live multi-court coverage throughout each edition of the tournament.
TSN has been broadcasting coverage of the French Open since the broadcaster launched in 1984.
