Weisz’s start-up consultancy lands Belgian Cup international rights remit

Sports Media Venture, a boutique production and rights consultancy set up former IMG executive Floris Weisz, is assisting with the sale of  international rights to the Belgian Cup.

Sports Media Venture has announced that it is working on the international broadcast rights sales for the 2019-20 edition of the knockout clubs tournament.

Weisz left IMG a year ago after a decade at the agency. His roles included head of sales in Benelux, Greece and Cyprus for IMG’s cycling portfolio and then IMG Media Asia’s vice-president, head of regional sales, business development and special projects. Upon leaving IMG, Weisz became chief commercial officer at 433, the football-focused digital media agency.
