Fifa has launched an invitation to tender for media rights in Portugal to the 2026 Fifa World Cup, giving interested broadcasters just over a month to turn around their bids.

Sport TV, the Portuguese pay-television broadcaster, retained rights to Italy’s Serie A in a three-year agreement from 2024-25 to 2026-27 at an increase on its previous deal.
