Malaysian pay-television operator Astro has acquired the broadcast rights in Malaysia and Brunei to the European qualifiers for the Uefa Euro 2016 and 2018 Fifa World Cup football tournaments.
The contract has been agreed with the CAA Eleven agency, which is marketing the rights on behalf of European football’s governing body Uefa.
The agreement is due to commence with the qualifying competition for France’s staging of Euro 2016, which starts in September.
