Madrid Deportes Audiovisuales, the holding company that was established to acquire rights for games featuring Spanish top-tier Liga clubs Atlético de Madrid and Getafe, has gone bankrupt, according to the El Economista news website.
The report said that the company, which was set up in 2007 by the Caja Madrid bank and regional public-service broadcaster Telemadrid, filed for bankruptcy in March with debts of €71.89m ($94.18m).
