Australian Open serves up record ratings on Nine

More than 3.5 million television viewers in Australia watched home-grown star Ashleigh Barty win her first Australian Open on Saturday, leading free-to-air broadcaster Nine to an unprecedented audience share.

A total of 3.52 million tuned into Nine's linear television network, making it the most-watched Australian Open women’s final of all time and the most-watched broadcast in Australia this year.
