Organisers of the Baku 2015 European Games have signed broadcast rights partners in Greece and Finland for the inaugural edition of the multi-sport event.
Public service broadcaster Nerit will show daily live action in Greece, along with coverage from the opening and closing ceremonies on its television and online platforms.
Finnish public service broadcaster YLE will also supplement daily live coverage and a highlights package with opening and closing ceremony broadcasts, while it will carry all 800 hours of live coverage provided by host broadcaster ISB on its website and digital platforms.
The deals with Nerit and YLE mean Baku 2015 has secured broadcast agreements in 49 countries. The first edition of the European Games will take place from June 12-28.
