The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has pushed the deadline for a media rights tender to its Indian Premier League Twenty20 competition back by one week to February 10.
The invitation to tender launched on January 22 and was originally scheduled to close on February 3.
The tender relates to digital and television rights for the 2015, 2016 and 2017 editions of the IPL.
Alongside internet and mobile rights in the Indian subcontinent, the package on offer includes television, audio, internet and mobile rights in “certain territories” worldwide.
Times Internet, the digital arm of the Times of India media group, held the digital rights to the IPL in the event’s home territory from 2011 to 2014.
