BeIN Media Group has acquired exclusive rights in France to the Spanish Liga and Italian Serie A club football leagues.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed, but beIN said it will hold exclusive rights to the two leagues from the forthcoming 2015-16 season. French newspaper L’Équipe said the deals will run for multiple seasons.
BeIN said it will broadcast live La Liga and Serie A games via its pay-television beIN Sports channels every weekend at primetime on Sunday evenings – 8.30pm for La Liga matches and 8.45pm for Serie A encounters.
