International sports broadcaster ESPN and US media company Liberman Broadcasting have acquired media rights for the 2014 Socio MX Tour, which features five friendly matches between top-tier Mexican football clubs.
The friendly matches will take place in five different US cities from July 3-12.
As a global media partner of the tour, ESPN will broadcast the games in more than 20 countries outside of the US.
Liberman Broadcasting will broadcast games in the US via its Estrella TV Spanish-language network.
The tour will feature Mexican clubs Monterrey, Cruz Azul, Pumas, Tijuana and Chivas, as well as North American Soccer League second-division team Scorpions.
