The ACT Brumbies Australian rugby union club will launch its own free-to-air television programme after striking a deal with commercial broadcaster Network Ten.
The ‘Brumbies TV’ show will be shown on a weekly basis on Ten’s One HD channel.
The Brumbies will be the first Super Rugby franchise to launch its own show. The programme will be available in Canberra, Wollongong, South Coast, Wagga Wagga, Orange, Dubbo and the surrounding areas.
Each half-hour episode will be broadcast every Thursday evening, beginning on February 25. The first episode will be shown less than 24 hours before the Brumbies’ first match of the 2016 Super Rugby season against the Hurricanes.
The programme will feature news, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
