Canadian public-service broadcaster CBC has committed to showing more coverage of the ongoing 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto after reportedly receiving complaints from some viewers.
CBC will show an additional 12 hours of the Games through to the conclusion of the multi-sport event on July 26.
The Pan Am Afternoon programme has been expanded from three hours each weekday, while CBC’s weekend programming will include an additional hour of primetime coverage on July 19 and an additional three hours on July 25.
