Canadian public-service broadcaster CBC has renewed its deal with the Canadian Paralympic Committee ahead of the 2018 winter Games in Pyeongchang, Korea.
The agreement covers the Pyeongchang Games, which run from March 9-18, and the Tokyo 2020 summer Games.
It marks the first time the two parties have signed a multi-Games renewal of their partnership. The deal also incorporates Radio-Canada.
CBC will deliver unprecedented levels of coverage during the 2018 and 2020 Paralympics, with more broadcast and live-streaming content to be delivered than ever before.
CBC’s English-language coverage of Pyeongchang 2018 will include daily television broadcasts, live coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies and multiple live streams each day. Further details of its coverage will be announced in the coming months.
