China Open partners up with iFeng

Online streaming service iFeng has agreed a strategic partnership with the China Open ahead of this year’s edition of the tennis tournament.

Under the agreement, the iFeng news app will showcase exclusive video clips of the event, which runs from October 2-8.

Clips will include highlights and interviews, while the app will also allow users to interact with fellow fans.

Yidianzixun.com, an iFeng-backed news website, will also showcase the clips. The Yutang Sports website said the deal represents the first time a video clips service will be provided for the tournament.

The iFeng service is set to engage in more sports coverage following the conclusion of the China Open.

The China Open forms part of the men’s ATP World Tour and the women’s WTA Tour, serving as a 500 Series and Premier Mandatory tournament, respectively. Britain’s Andy Murray and Agnieszka RadwaƄska (pictured) of Poland are the defending singles champions.
