Cable-television operator Time Warner Cable Sports has become the official Spanish-language local rights-holder of California-based Major League Soccer club Chivas USA.
Time Warner Cable is scheduled to broadcast 16 regular-season games this year. The deal covers 10 home games and six away matches.
Coverage will be shown on the Time Warner Cable Deportes Spanish-language platform.
Last week, Chivas USA appointed independent regional broadcaster KDOC-TV as its official English-language local rights-holder.
