DAZN targets profitability in DACH region within 12 to 18 months

DAZN aims to be profitable within 12 to 18 months in German-speaking countries, according to Alice Mascia, the subscription broadcaster’s new chief executive in the DACH region.

Having doubled the monthly subscription price from €14.99 ($15.18) to €29.99 in February on the back of premium rights acquisitions, Mascia has outlined a timeline for profitability and as the media group continues to diversify its revenue mix.
