Sports broadcast technology provider Deltatre has been selected by Dyn Media to build the new streaming platform for the Germany-based OTT operator.
The platform, which is set to launch on July 1 next year, has acquired exclusive domestic rights to the Handball Bundesliga, Basketball Bundesliga, men’s Volleyball Bundesliga and Table Tennis Bundesliga. It also recently struck a sublicensing agreement with commercial broadcaster Sport1 for the media rights to domestic women’s volleyball properties.
