England squash match secures BBC platform

England Squash has struck a deal for UK public-service broadcaster the BBC to show live coverage of England’s match against a rest-of-the-world team tonight (Friday).

The Ab Initio International match will take place in Surrey and feature England players Nick Matthew, James Willstrop (pictured), Daryl Selby and Laura Massaro.

The contest, which will feature four individual games, will be shown live on the BBC Sport website from 6:00pm.

The international match will also be available live via video-sharing website YouTube.

For the first time in the history of the sport, the match will be shown on YouTube in 4K 360 virtual reality, featuring replays and graphics, as well as expert commentary.
