ESPN picks up Australian rights to NBL-NBA games

Sports broadcaster ESPN has acquired rights in Australia to three upcoming friendly games between teams from the domestic National Basketball League and North America's NBA.

ESPN will broadcast the Sydney Kings’ trip to Utah Jazz on October 3, Melbourne United’s game against Oklahoma City on October 9, and Brisbane Bullets v Phoenix Suns on October 14.

Games will also be available via the NBA League Pass online streaming service.

The games will mark the first time NBL teams have visited the US to take on NBA sides in pre-season.

Australians Joe Ingles (pictured) and Dante Exum will feature in the first game for the Jazz against the Kings.
