The CAA Eleven agency has launched a tender in Turkey for broadcast rights to the Uefa Euro 2016 national team football tournament.
The deadline for offers for the contract closes on November 10. Turkey was one of the markets excluded from a deal the European Broadcasting Union consortium of public-service broadcasters struck in June for rights to Euro 2016 in 26 territories.
Euro 2016 will be hosted by France next summer. Turkey booked its place at the finals earlier this month as a late goal from Selçuk İnan secured a 1-0 win over Iceland in the final qualifying game of Group A.
CAA Eleven is Uefa’s exclusive marketing agency for the sale of certain media and commercial rights relating to its national team football competitions.
