Pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport has acquired exclusive rights to ATP Stuttgart, one of the newest events to be added to the ATP World Tour, the leading global men’s professional tennis circuit.
The agreement will run for three years, from 2015 until 2017.
Eurosport will serve as the exclusive European broadcaster of the event. The deal includes television and digital rights.
Jean-Thierry Augustin, chief executive officer of Eurosport, said: “Tennis is truly a part of Eurosport’s DNA and to strengthen our already extensive tennis offer with a new ATP tournament is right in line with our current strategy of expanding exclusivity in our pillar sports.”
The 2015 ATP Stuttgart event will take place at the new TC Weissenhof venue from June 6-14.
