Pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport has agreed a deal with the Ligue Nationale de Volley for the rights to the Ligue A Féminine, the top division of French women’s volleyball.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it will commence from the 2014-15 season.
Eurosport succeeds pay-television operator Ma Chaîne Sport, which has held the rights since 2011, in the role.
Eurosport will broadcast a total of 12 live games throughout the season, with a choice of the best matchups from the Ligue A Féminine.
