Christian Seifert, the former chief executive of the German Football League (DFL), has formed a joint venture with Axel Springer, the media group and publishing house, to create a new German streaming platform that will focus on sports away from football.
It was announced this morning that Seifert’s Reedstreet Ventures holding company has created a media start-up with the Germany-based Axel Springer, which takes a majority stake in the as-of-yet unnamed entity.
