FFF to enter direct negotiations for Coupe de France domestic rights

The French Football Federation has decided against awarding domestic broadcast rights to the country’s national knockout clubs competition with bids submitted by yesterday’s (Wednesday’s) deadline deemed insufficient.

Noël Le Graët, the FFF president, told L’Équipe that direct negotiations would now be held in in order to award the rights for four seasons from next season onwards.
