Fight Sports, the CSI Sports-owned linear sports channel and digital service, has launched Fight Sports Max, a new subscription digital service, in the Middle East and North Africa ahead of its coverage of tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) heavyweight boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr.
Boxing fans in the region will be able to watch the fight through FightSportsMax.tv. The fight will take place at the newly-built Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia.
Fight Sports last month acquired exclusive broadcast rights in Africa to the fight, which will see Joshua and Ruiz contest the WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight titles. Fight Sports also holds exclusive rights to the fight in the Middle East and multiple countries across Europe.
Fight Sports Max will stream build-up programming to the event including the open workouts, press conferences and weigh-ins.

Ruiz defeated Joshua in the first fight between the pair at New York’s Madison Square Garden back in June.
Later this month, Fight Sports Max will have exclusive access to the WBC Super Welterweight World Championship rematch on December 21 between Jermell Charlo and Tony Harrison, as well as the December 28 fight WBA Lightweight World Championship bout between Gervonta Davis and Yuriorkis Gamboa.
