Fisu, the governing body of international university sport, has said it will provide live streaming of the forthcoming 26th winter Universiade on its LiveFisu.tv platform.
Fisu said the platform will broadcast a “great number” of competitions from the multi-sport event, which takes place in Trentino, Italy from December 11-21.
Along with specific sports, LiveFisu.tv will also provide daily highlights throughout the duration of the Universiade.
Fisu added that the 2013 Winter Universiade will receive television coverage through rights deals struck with pan-regional sports broadcaster Eurosport, Chinese state broadcaster CCTV, Korean commercial broadcaster KBS, US network CBS, Russian free-to-air broadcaster RTR and Czech public-service broadcaster CTV.
Italian state broadcaster Rai will provide coverage of the Universiade in its host nation.
