Australian pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports has acquired rights for the inaugural World Club 7s rugby union sevens tournament next month.
Fox Sports struck the deal with Premiership Rugby, the English organisation that operates the competition.
The two-day competition will take place on August 17-18 at Twickenham in London, England. Australian team the ACT Brumbies will be one of the participants.
Premiership Rugby commercial director Dominic Hayes said: “We are looking forward to confirming further TV deals in the next few weeks.”
