Fox International Channels, the broadcast division of media company 21st Century Fox, has launched its Fox Sports HD channel in Greece through a carriage deal with pay-television operator Nova.
News of the entry of Fox Sports into the Greek market was first revealed at the beginning of October, without a launch date specified.
However, Fox Sports HD commenced broadcasting via the Nova 3Play platform on October 29, granting Greek sports fans access to a variety of content.
This includes NFL American football, MLB baseball, NHL ice hockey, PGA Tour golf tournaments and American football and basketball events from the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
