Foxtel plans Kayo price hike as streaming subscribers grow

Australian broadcaster Foxtel has increased the price of Kayo Sports after reporting a big jump in subscribers at the sports streaming service during financial results for the first quarter this year.

Linear television subscribers and revenue for the broadcaster dropped significantly, year-on-year, in results for the three-month period ending in March, reported by Foxtel's majority owner News Corp.
