French public-service broadcaster France Télévisions has acquired rights to the 2017 Uefa Women’s Euro national team football tournament.
Under the deal with European football’s governing body, France Télévisions has committed to broadcast at least one live game from every match day, including all games featuring the French national team and the tournament’s semi-finals and final.
Next year’s Women’s Euro will be staged by the Netherlands from July 16 to August 6. France Télévisions already holds rights to the 2016 Olympic Games meaning it will broadcast the next two major football tournaments for the women’s game.
