UK commercial broadcaster ITV has extended its rights deal for the French Open tennis tournament.
The deal will run for four years, from 2015 until 2018.
ITV will show a minimum of 90 hours of coverage of the tournament in the UK on an annual basis.
Coverage will air on the broadcaster's ITV flagship channel as well as its ITV4 digital-terrestrial channel. Coverage will also be available via the ITV Player on-demand service.
ITV has broadcast the tournament on an annual basis since 2012.
The 2014 French Open concluded yesterday (Sunday). Britain’s Andy Murray was defeated in the men’s semi-finals by Rafael Nadal, with the Spaniard going on to lift the trophy for a ninth time by winning the final against Novak Djokovic.
