French Tennis Federation welcomes anti-piracy ruling

The French Tennis Federation (FFT) has welcomed an interim order issued by a Paris court this week against streaming websites that are illegally broadcasting the ongoing French Open.

A judge has ruled that there have been “serious and repeated infringements” of the FFT’s rights by major streaming sites during the grand slam tournament, which got underway on Sunday and runs until June 6.
