US pay-television broadcaster HBO has acquired rights for this weekend’s heavyweight world title fight between defending champion Wladimir Klitschko and Kubrat Pulev.
HBO’s coverage of the fight on November 15 in Hamburg, Germany is the first of a three-fight deal between the broadcaster and Klitschko’s management, according to the ESPN sports news website.
The rights could also include a fight in early 2015 between Ukrainian world champion Klitschko and the winner of a fight between Bermane Stiverne and Deontay Wilder, the report added.
HBO’s coverage of Saturday’s bout will begin at 16.45pm US Eastern Time.
