US subscription video-on-demand service Hulu has secured carriage deals with media companies 21st Century Fox and Walt Disney.
The deals will allow Hulu to offer live and on-demand sports programming from networks such as ESPN and Fox Sports.
In total, Hulu’s new agreements with 21st Century Fox and Disney encompass more than 35 networks, including broadcast networks Fox and ABC; Fox Sports networks such as Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2 and BTN; ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN-SEC and ESPN 3; and Fox regional sports networks across dozens of key national markets.
Earlier this year, Hulu struck a similar deal with Time Warner to offer streaming from the media company’s networks such as TNT, TBS and truTV.
The new service is due to launch in early 2017. Terms of the Fox and Disney agreements were not disclosed.
