IMG continues to spread Chelsea’s global message

The IMG Media agency has extended its deal with English Premier League football club Chelsea to exclusively distribute its Chelsea TV channel on a global basis for the three years, spanning the 2013-14 to 2015-16 seasons.

The agreement, which excludes the UK and Ireland, will introduce a new bespoke three-hour weekly programming block in high definition for the international market.

In addition, IMG Media is marketing the media rights to the Uefa Europa League winner's Asian tour this summer to Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Tour coverage has been sold into 65 countries so far.

Chelsea TV will continue to offer full delayed coverage of all Chelsea’s Premier League, FA Cup, Capital One Cup and European matches, plus other content.
