The IMG Media agency has agreed a deal to distribute the live media rights for boxer Wladimir Klitschko’s fights through to the end of the Ukrainian’s career.
The global deal excludes Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Ukraine.
IMG Media will also market the complete archive of fights dating back to 2004 featuring Wladimir and his brother Vitali.
IMG Media struck the deal with Klitschko Management Group, which represents the brothers.
Under the agreement, the agency will also seek endorsement deals for Wladimir and offer advice about potential sites for future fights and hospitality packages at the events.
Klitschko is the longest reigning heavyweight world champion in history under the International Boxing Federation, World Boxing Organisation and International Boxing Organisation sanctioning bodies.
