Television content group Inverleigh Media Holdings has struck an enhanced partnership with youth-focused channel provider Trace TV to supply sports-related content to the Trace Sports Stars network of international channels.
Under the four-year agreement, from 2015 to 2018, Inverleigh will produce more than 100 hours of content through each year. Inverleigh has previously produced programming such as ‘National Icons’ and ‘Football Stars’ for Trace Sports Stars.
As part of the agreement, the DSI by Inverleigh commercial arm of Inverleigh, which is to soon rebrand as ‘Inverleigh’, will serve as Trace’s exclusive global distribution partner.
Inverleigh director Matt Whytcross said: “Broadcasters have recognised the appeal of sport entertainment making it an increasingly important component of schedules over the past 12-24 months. Trace and Inverleigh have, in parallel, been pioneers in this genre which makes this alliance a natural progression in a long-term association.”
