The International Tennis Federation has signed new multi-year broadcast rights deals in Australia, Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic ahead of the start of the Davis Cup national team tournament’s World Group first round this weekend.
Australian commercial broadcaster Seven and public-service broadcaster Czech TV have both agreed multi-year deals, while the Saran Media agency has done likewise for the Kazakh market.
In addition, Belgian public-service broadcaster RTBF has signed an agreement for Belgium’s first round tie against reigning champion Switzerland, ensuring coverage is guaranteed across all World Group nations.
The first round ties take place from March 6-8 with the Czech Republic taking on Australia, while Kazakhstan faces Italy at home.
