The IMG agency has promoted Adam Kelly to head of global sales for its IMG Media division.
In his new role as senior vice-president of worldwide sales, Kelly (pictured) will continue to report into Ioris Francini, co-president of WME-IMG. Kelly previously led sales and worldwide business development in the EMEA region.
Kelly played a key role in IMG's recent long-term joint venture with Euroleague Basketball and will continue to be involved in the project going forward. He is involved in a number of other significant relationships, including IMG's consultancy with the International Olympic Committee, the recent acquisition of the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts series, the global expansion of broadcast rights for World Snooker and action sports, including IMG's fully-owned action sports channel EDGEsport.
In 2012, Kelly became IMG Media’s senior vice-president of global business development, moving up from the role of senior vice-president of marketing and commercial director. He joined IMG in the research division in 2001.
