French digital-terrestrial television channel L’Equipe 21 has acquired the rights to the ‘SuperCrunch’ – a pre-season rugby union competition featuring French Top 14 and English Premiership teams.
The tournament will be held on August 9 at Grenoble’s Stade des Alpes. Montpellier will take on London Irish before the host club faces Harlequins.
L’Equipe 21 will broadcast both games live.
