French digital-terrestrial television channel L’Équipe has bolstered its rugby union portfolio by acquiring rights to three international games.
The rights package includes two games featuring British invitational team the Barbarians. The first of these matches will be against South Africa at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday.
L’Équipe will broadcast the game live, followed by coverage of the clash between Japan and Argentina, which takes place at Tokyo’s Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium.
L’Équipe will also broadcast the November 11 game between the Barbarians and Fiji, which will be staged at the Kingspan Stadium in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
