MP & Silva has sealed a 14-season contract with the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation which will see the agency help to launch the AGCFF’s new club competition.
Under its global advisor contract, running from 2017 to 2030, MP & Silva will be responsible for advising the AGCFF on media and commercial rights deals for all football competitions.
The AGCFF was established in 2016 and is headquartered in Doha, Qatar. Membership includes Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
The newly-formed AGCFF will hold Gulf Nations Cup national team tournaments in every odd year, starting in 2017, and a club competition every even year, starting in 2020. Already scheduled are the 23rd edition of the Gulf Nations Cup, which will be held in Qatar in 2017, followed by the 24th edition taking place in the UAE in 2019.
