American football’s NFL has renewed a partnership with YouTube that will bring additional content on the league’s official channel on the video-sharing platform.
The length of the multi-year renewal has not been disclosed.
The NFL launched its official YouTube channel in 2015 and has since generated almost 900m views.
The NFL’s channel offers game previews, in-game highlights, post-game recaps and clips featuring news, analysis, fantasy football advice and other content from NFL Media properties.
As part of the renewal, and for the first time on YouTube, the NFL will make available some of the most exciting games in the league’s history. Three of the most memorable games for each of the 32 clubs in the NFL will be posted to the YouTube channel ahead of the start of the 2016 season.
Additionally, more NFL content, including game highlights uploaded to YouTube while games are in progress, will be available through Google Search.
