The Professional Darts Corporation has secured partnerships with full-service digital agency Rippleffect and video streaming specialist StreamAMG as part of a move to strengthen its digital media offering.
Rippleffect and StreamAMG will merge the main PDC website and video channel to create a new platform that will feature a wide range of video content.
Due to launch later this year, the new website will benefit from a Drupal content management system that will enable the PDC media team to upload a selection of videos.
In addition, Rippleffect will work with the PDC to communicate with fans and subscribers through targeted email communications.
The PDC said that the approach would focus on boosting subscriptions and attendances in the UK and overseas, as well as activating sponsorship opportunities.
