Aser, a global investment company focused on the media and sport sectors, has appointed Marco Pistoni as managing director of its media division.
Pistoni will take up his new role at Aser Media with a wealth of experience in the sports-media industry, most recently serving as television rights director with the Italian arm of the Infront Sports & Media agency.
Aser founder and chairman, Andrea Radrizzani, said: “I am delighted to appoint a managing director of Marco’s ability and experience.
“Evolution is important to maintain and enhance creativity and innovation and this very positive appointment will add great value for Aser as well as strengthening the structure of our business.”
Aser’s current portfolio is made up of start-ups and established businesses and includes the MP & Silva agency, international sports broadcaster Eleven Sports, English Championship football club Leeds United and specialist cycling platform Bike Channel.
