Promoted Andersen succeeds Vestergaard as DR head of sport

DR, the Danish public broadcaster, has appointed Ulrik Andersen as the new head of its sports division.

The 40-year-old Andersen will take charge of DR Sporten on August 1, with responsibility for DR's sports coverage and over the editorial staff in Aarhus. He takes over from Søren Vestergaard, who held the position for seven years.
