The Protocol Sports Marketing agency has signed an exclusive worldwide media-rights distribution agreement with Triton Poker, organiser of the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series.
Triton launched the Triton Super High Roller Series in 2016, culminating in a London-based event which featured an industry-record $1.25m (€1.16m) entry fee, a grand prize in excess of $23m and what was claimed to be the best television production ever assembled for a poker competition.
Protocol Sports will market the newly-produced Triton Super High Roller Series London, a series of 10 hour-long shows. Featuring commentary by poker legend Daniel ‘Kid Poker’ Negreanu, the series will showcase the seven-day tournament.
Protocol added that talks are beginning with platforms all over the world to become exclusive licensees for upcoming Triton Super High Roller Series events.
“Our relationship with Triton Poker Series represents a new chapter for Protocol,” Protocol Sports Marketing president Lowell Conn said. “Protocol’s goals are Triton’s goals. We will help Triton to build on its plans to host the biggest and most successful poker tournaments that the world has ever seen, while sharing Triton’s values of sustainability and charity.”
Protocol’s last major contract came in October as the International Floorball Federation appointed the company as its exclusive worldwide media-rights distributor and sponsorship agency.
