The Rogers Communications telecommunications company has confirmed that it will show 500 regular-season NHL games across 13 different channels in Canada during the 2014-15 season as part of a new 12-year rights deal with the North American ice hockey league.
Pay-television channels City, Sportsnet and FX Canada will be among the platforms to show the games, Rogers said.
The deal, which was announced in November, will run until the 2025-26 season.
As part of the agreement, Rogers has online streaming rights for NHL coverage via online, wireless and mobile devices.
