Romania’s Pro TV picks up Uefa national team rights

Romanian commercial broadcaster Pro TV has acquired rights in the country to a host of national team events organised by Uefa, the governing body of European football.

According to the sport.ro website, Pro TV will show coverage of qualifiers for Euro 2020, as well as the tournament itself, which will be staged in 13 cities across Europe.

Pro TV will also hold rights to European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and the first two editions of Uefa’s new Nations League tournament, which launches next year.

Coverage will be shown via Pro TV’s Pro X channel.
